| Biochem/physiol Actions【生化/生理作用】 | Imperatorin is an important bioactive furanocoumarin. It is used to treat neurodegenerative diseases. It possesses anticancer, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and HIV replication-inhibiting activities. Imperatorin serves as an inhibitor of acetylcholinesterase (AChE) and may help in treating Alzheimer′s disease (AD) and Parkinson′s disease (PD). Imperatorin is a modulator of p38, ERK pathway. Imperatorin increases BMP-2 expression (mRNA) and increases bone density/volume and mineralization in vivo. |
