DPPE is a tamoxifen derivataive that binds with high affinity to the anti-estrogen binding site, but unlike tamoxifen, does not bind to the estrogen receptor. DPPE sensitizes MDR tumor cells to chemotherapy and also inhibits histamine binding at the intracellular histamine site. |
