The Cdc2-like kinases (Clk′s) and the dual-specificity tyrosine phosphorylation-regulated kinases (Dyrk′s) are involved in regulation of gene splicing. The Cdc2-like kinases phosphorylate the serine/arginine-rich (SR) proteins, a major component of the spliceosome. |
