乙酸锡(II)

Tin(II) acetate is used as a precursor in the production of tin anode, Sn-Cu bimetallic nanoparticles, high surface area tin oxide catalysts. It acts as Lewis acid catalysts for the esterification and transesterification reactions. It serves as an efficient catalytic system for carbon-hydrogen activation of methoxy group of anisole in presence of palladium(II) acetate. It plays an important role in stannous oral care compositions.

Hygroscopic and moisture sensitive. Keep the container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Incompatible with strong oxidizing agents. Decomposes in water.
